第2回 Case 1: The case of "Jodie and Mary". Jodie are Mary are newborn conjoined twins (結合した双子). The doctors want to separate the twins, but the parents refuse to consent to the operation. The parents are Christian and believe it would be a sin to separate Jodie and Mary. The hospital applies to the court for permission to separate the twins. The court must decide whether to allow separation of the twins, against the wishes of the parents.
第3回 Case 2: The case of "Mrs Pretty". Mrs Pretty is terminally ill and wants to commit suicide. Unfortunately, she needs the assistance of her husband to kill herself, as her illness prevents her from moving. However, assisted suicide is a crime in English law. If her husband helps her, then it is a crime and he could be sent to prison for up to 7 years. The husband - Mr Pretty - asks the court for permission to help his wife in ending her life.
第4回 Case 3: The case of "Naomi Campbell". Naomi Campbell is a famous fashion model. A UK newspaper prints a photograph of her leaving a clinic where she has received treatment for drug addiction. Ms Campbell sues the newspaper for violating her right to privacy. The newspaper argued that they have a right to publish the story as Ms Campbell had always said she had never used drugs.
