1. Japan’s Trade Policy (1) Trade statistics (2) Tariff rates (3) FTA policy 2. Asian Regional Economic Integration (1) Asia’s potential (2) Economic ties between Japan and Asia (3) Economic integration (4) Region-wide FTA in Asia and the Pacific During the last three sessions, each participant will make a presentation. Presentation topics are the following. Pick up one country in Asia and the Pacific region, and explain its trade policy including the stance on FTA and regional economic integration. * Current status and features of its trade * Problems, obstacles, and prospects of its trade * Its FTA policy and characteristics of each FTA * Its policy on region-wide FTA and regional economic integration |
