Kyushu University provides financial aid to deserving students who wish to pursue any of the available International Program in Law courses.

A total of 10 students per year will be supported by scholarships from the Japanese Government (Monbukagakusho). Students wishing to be considered for these scholarships must apply in accordance with separate application guidelines.

Young Leaders Program (YLP) Scholarship

There will be about 15 Students accepted by Kyushu University each year from designated countries.

Available to citizens of Cambodia, China, Indonesia, Korea, Lao P.D.R., Malaysia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Singapore, Thailand, The Philippines, and Vietnam

Based on recommendation of our counterpart institutions in the participating countries, Kyushu University will select initial candidates from among applicants by means of a review of the submitted documents, a short essay and an interview. Those who have been selected initially by Kyushu University will be put forward to a committee in MEXT for final selection.
