International Commercial and Investment Arbitration, ADR, IP/IT Dispute Resolution
Julia Jiyeon Yu is teaching international dispute resolution, focusing on international commercial and investment arbitration and international mediation. She researches in the areas of ADR and IP / IT dispute resolution. Previously, she served as Counsel and Head of North East Asia desk at Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC) handling over 130 international arbitration cases under the SIAC Arbitration Rules as well as the UNCITRAL Arbitration Rules. In 2011, she was chosen to be a fellow of Eisenhower Fellowships in the US for her research of ADR. She is practising international arbitration at a law firm in Singapore as a partner and a fellow of Singapore Institute of Arbitrators. She has been appointed to the panel of arbitrators at the Thai Arbitration Institute (TAI) and also invited to be an Advisor to the TAI.
