Professor Branislav Hazucha
Branislav Hazucha is Assistant Professor at Hokkaido University School of Law. His research interests focus on various impacts of intellectual property protection on the development of new dual-use information and communication technologies—technologies which can be used by their consumers for copyright infringing, as well as non-infringing purposes. He has previously taught at Kyushu University Graduate School of Law. Before entering into academia, he practiced law in a leading law firm in Slovakia (Čechová & Partners) and worked at the Institute for Approximation of Law at the Office of the Government of the Slovak Republic. He obtained his law degrees at Comenius University (LL.M.), Trnava University (Dr. jur.) and Kyushu University Graduate School of Law (LL.D.).
