Professor Peng is currently teaching company, securities and banking law at the Law School of Peking University. He earned his law degrees from Peking University (Ph.D and M.A) and from East China University of Politics and Law (LL.B.).

His recent publications include Chinese Securities Regulation ( Beijing: Higher Education Press, 2005) and Legal Interpretation of Securitization ( Beijing: Peking University Press, 2001).
