Steven Van Uytsel

Steven Van Uytsel is Associate Professor at the Faculty of Law, Kyushu University, where he teaches competition law, products liability and natural resources law.

His research interests focus on the internationalization of competition law, the fundamentals of competition law, competition law and development, the Japanese Anti-Monopoly Law and the enforcement of competition law. These topics have been examined in his publication and in lectures and presentations given in China, Germany, Japan, Thailand and Vietnam.

Associate Professor Van Uytsel received his legal education at Antwerp University, Uppsala University (ERASMUS Exchange program) and Kyushu University.

Prior to his academic career, Associate Professor Van Uytsel has worked for the Ministry of Economy (Belgium) and Daikin Industries (Belgium and Japan).
